The Seagull Cantilever Umbrella gives you 3 metres of overhead shade without a centre pole getting in the way. The offset cantilever design means the entire canopy floats to the side of its base, leaving the space beneath completely open — ideal for sun loungers, outdoor dining sets, or pool decks where a traditional centre-pole umbrella would be impractical. The 180g/m² polyester canopy is water-resistant and UV-blocking, providing meaningful protection against South Africa’s intense summer sun and the harmful UV rays that cause skin damage. The main central pole is constructed from aluminium, making it rust-resistant and durable enough for year-round outdoor use in coastal and inland conditions alike. Eight steel ribs — each 12 x 18 mm — provide the structural backbone that keeps the canopy stable and evenly tensioned across the full 300 cm diameter. A built-in crank mechanism makes opening and closing effortless, with no need to manually push or pull the canopy.
